Rental Terms & Conditions

The rental period begins on the agreed start date and ends on the agreed return date as specified in your rental confirmation. Extensions must be requested and approved in advance. Unauthorized extensions may result in additional charges.

A refundable security deposit is required for all rental orders. The deposit amount varies based on the equipment rented and will be specified at the time of booking. Zetta reserves the right to apply the deposit toward any unpaid charges, damages, or losses. Full rental payment is due before the equipment is dispatched unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All equipment is inspected and documented before dispatch. You are responsible for inspecting the equipment upon receipt and reporting any pre-existing damage within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in liability for damages identified upon return.

Rental equipment must be used solely for the purposes agreed at the time of booking, by authorized personnel, and in accordance with the manufacturer's operating guidelines.

The following are strictly prohibited without prior written approval from Zetta:

• Use in hazardous, unsafe, or abnormal operating environments
• Use for any illegal or unauthorized activities
• Operation in restricted or controlled areas (including but not limited to airports, military zones, or government-controlled facilities)
• Modification, repair, or disassembly of any component
• Transfer, subletting, or sharing of equipment with any third party

You are responsible for all damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the rental period, except for normal wear and tear. Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit; where costs exceed the deposit, you will be invoiced for the outstanding amount. Zetta will document and provide an assessment of any damage and associated repair costs upon return.

*Normal wear and tear refers to minor cosmetic or functional deterioration resulting from ordinary use of the equipment, and does not include damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.

The security deposit is not a limit on your liability. The replacement value of each unit is stated in your rental confirmation.

Equipment must be returned in its original condition, with all components and accessories, by the agreed return date. Late returns will incur additional daily rental charges. Equipment that is returned incomplete or damaged will be assessed and charged accordingly.

Cancellation terms vary by order and will be outlined in your rental confirmation. Cancellations made within a specified notice period of the rental start date may be subject to a cancellation fee.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zetta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, or data. Zetta provides no warranty that the equipment is suitable for any specific purpose beyond its intended use. All parties involved in the operation of rental equipment are responsible for ensuring safe and lawful use in compliance with applicable regulations.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zetta from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use, operation, or possession of the rental equipment.

Zetta reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and request immediate return of equipment in the event of a material breach of these terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this rental agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
